ADF International has immediate openings for Structural Steel Fitters, fabricating in accordance with AWS D1.1 and other structural codes as required.
ADF International is an AISC certified company that fabricates beams, columns, trusses for Industrial and Commercial complexes. ADF has fabricated steel for the following projects: Mercedes Benz Stadium (Atlanta Falcons), Salt Lake City Airport’s new terminal, One World Trade Center and currently awarded fabrication for the Las Vegas Raiders new stadium.
We work a 4-10 schedule Monday through Friday with a Day/Night shift.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
o Proficient in reading and interpreting blue prints, drawings and specifications per AWS D1.1 or other applicable structural codes
o Proficient with MCAW (Metal Core) and FCAW welding processes
o Responsible for achieving good speed of execution while maintaining quality workmanship in a wide range of fitting activities
o Responsible for positioning and securing (spot or tack welding) various types and sizes of steel parts and components to be welded onto subassemblies or assemblies, according to drawings, specifications and instructions
o Responsible for making basic layouts and marking weld points on parts or assemblies in order to establish reference points
o Responsible for clamping, holding, tack welding, heat-bending, grinding and/or bolting component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
o Responsible for examining work pieces for defects, measuring work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications
o Responsible for cutting steel plates and structural shapes to dimensions, and beveling as specified by blueprints and layouts using powered saws, hand shears, chipping knives or oxy torches
o Responsible for repairing products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torches, straightening presses, and hand tools
o Must have the ability to speak English fluently
