A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BENEFITS COORDINATOR would include:

  • Acting as a customer service liaison to our employees and families for healthcare and benefits matters
  • Assisting in preparing, tracking, and following up on benefit enrollments
  • Creating and maintaining a system for healthcare reminders for employees
  • Educating employees and their families on healthcare benefits
  • Dealing tactfully with employees, family members, providers, and brokers

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates for this entry level position must have customer service experience, are willing to travel, and should be bilingual (Spanish/English). The Benefits Coordinators must have the ability to keep confidential healthcare data private at all times. Garney expects its Benefits Coordinators to maintain a positive attitude and be friendly and courteous. They must be self-motivated and able to work independently, stay organized, and follow-up and follow through on commitments.

Pay Range for this position is between $18.00- $20.50 an hour.
