Adoption Counselor - Sioux Falls Area Humane Society

Are you an animal lover who is wanting to help match those looking for a companion to their perfect pet? This is the job for you! We are seeking a passionate, caring, reliable and outgoing Adoption Counselor! Part-time (32 hours/week), Friday-Monday (a weekend position) 10am-6pm or 7pm. 

What will you get to do!

*  Assist the general public with services provided by the SFAHS, such as adoptions, admitting pets, releasing strays, advising with animal-related questions, etc.

* Various clerical duties, keeping the front office area clean/organized; work with retail items. 

* Provide excellent, high-level customer service to co-workers and customers.

We are looking for the “purrfect” candidate who loves animals, is comfortable working directly with the public, and is a dependable team player! Customer service experience strongly preferred. Must be 18 years or older. Offer a competitive compensation plus benefits!
