Internship Program Requirements:
- Applicants must be enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program and have a minimum GPA of 3.3
- Positions will require a commitment of:
- 20+ hours per week during the school semester
- 30+ hours per week during the summer session
- Must be responsible, organized, and goal-oriented
- Proficient at using Microsoft Word and Excel
- A proven ability to initiate and maintain strong personal relationships
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Digital Design Intern:
Are you an edgy Digital Design student who is looking to be inspired by skilled designers? Join our collaborative internal marketing team for a unique opportunity to engage in video projects, animated presentations, catalog creation, image retouching, website updates, and layout assignments. If you enjoy brainstorming and bringing creative concepts to fruition, this may be the right role for you. Technical experience should include InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office with competence in PowerPoint, iMovie or Final Cut Pro, basic understanding of HTML, knowledge of video file formats and uploading of online files for press, and competence with peripheral technology (e.g. digital cameras, audio recordings, green screen). This intern will use computer editing software programs, video switching devices, digital video effects programs and other tools to piece together film components. S/He should have experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut). S/He should have an existing portfolio including video production, graphic design, and/or web, online media communications. The design student will be majoring in communication arts, graphic design and/or marketing.
