  • CIVIL SAFETY BONUS

    This is a bonus program that was started to benefit our field employees and show our appreciation for each of them. Safety is the responsibility of everyone, moving as a team member we will earn this by working safe and looking out for each other. This is a team effort to build a safer work environment, develop better hands-on training in the field, and a better awareness of “MY BROTHERS KEEPER” This daily bonus will only go out to foreman, field employees, truck drivers, and mechanics. The bonus is in the amount of $5 for every working day we are accident or incident free. We firmly believe that Civil is built by the men and women who work in the trenches every day. Only current company employees will be paid this bonus, if you are not an employee the day prior to payout there will be no bonus paid out to an ex-employee. New hires will not be included in bonus program until the 1st day of the next month of their hire. The terms of this program are subject to change at any time per management. This will go into effect starting 1/1/2022. 

    • At fault accidents - No Bonus
    • Accident that becomes a recordable - No Bonus
    • An at fault vehicle accident (Foreman, Field Employees, Truck drivers, Mechanics)-No Bonus
    • Pays out at the beginning of every month for the previous month
    • New Hire - will be added to bonus participants the following month after hire
    • No pay on bad weather days that shuts down all crews
    • If only a few crews are working, everyone will still get paid if there are no accidents (we are a team)

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Perform manual physical labor at highway and heavy construction projects.  May operate hand and power tools to prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support excavations, erect scaffolding and cleaning and removal of debris and waste.  Hauling, hoisting of materials.  Excavating and filling trenches of ditches.  Work is done in variable weather conditions including heat & humidity and may be on uneven, unpaved surfaces. 

 

UNSKILLED LABORER/FLAGGER – Entry level position.  Physical condition should allow for frequent bending, stooping, squatting, standing for long extended periods of time in addition to heavy lifting.  Flagger training will be provided.

 

All positions require your own transportation to and from jobsites which vary within the Metro Nashville area and surrounding counties. All positions as Full-Time commonly a 6 day work week Monday-Saturday.  All are Non-Exempt positions.
