Architectural Designer
The recent Architectural Designer’s primary role is to gather information and explore all facets of the project design and work alongside a mentor(s) to complete project needs. You will be exposed to a wide array of project types, scopes, and phases that will challenge your creativity and knowledge and build your career.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work side by side with Project Team to create presentation drawings
* Creating Construction Documents
* Assist with materials and methods research
* Support Architect and Project manager with research for Code compliance
* Works collaboratively with the Project Leadership Team (i.e. Architect, Interior Designer, and Project Manager)
* Coordinating project deliverables with structural, MEP, landscape, civil, food service, and geo-tech.
* Researching municipalities for building permitting, zoning, special use applications for clients.
* Involvement in the following activities: After hour business development events, local community events, and industry continuing education.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors or technical design degree preferred or equivalent experience
* Architectural License preferred, but not required. Working towards Architecture license is a plus!
* Industry knowledge and prior architectural internship preferred
* Demonstrated experience in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, & Microsoft Suite
* The ability to work and thrive in a team and independent working scenarios with demonstrable organizational and time management skills
