Formed in 2002 out of a need for high-caliber consultants within the life sciences industry. Sequence, Inc. is well-known in regulated industries as a validation and engineering services provider, specializing in quality and compliance services for software, IT infrastructure, laboratory instruments, analytical methods, equipment, automation, processes, cleaning and utilities, as well as process optimization, laboratory software support, remediation, regulatory compliance services, system/facility startup and much more. All of our work is done in-house with oversight from a management team that cut its teeth in regulatory compliance.
We are currently seeking Summer Interns within our Engineering Department to assist in process development, commissioning, automation, and validation projects within biomanufacturing, cGMP facilities. Interns will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced Engineers that can share a wealth of industry-based knowledge within the pharmaceutical, biotech fields. Interns will be given a range of tasks including but not limited to: hands-on field work, progress mapping and reporting, and protocol review.
Requirements:
- Candidates for consideration should be pursuing (or recently received) degrees in Biomanufacturing, Bioprocess, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Show a strong desire for working both in the field and at the desk with responsibilities in technical writing, documentation, and hands-on equipment testing and qualifying.
- Candidates should show an interest in flexibility of project location (all within the Research Triangle Parkway and surrounding areas).
- Possess a strong technical aptitude to learn in fast-paced environments.
- Candidates should be team-players and be able to problem-solve in both technical and social atmospheres.
