Frank Beer Distributors in Middleton, WI is now hiring for a Bilingual Sales Representative. The Bilingual Sales Representative will establish and maintain professional sales relationships with key Hispanic accounts within the assigned territory(s).
Responsibilities:
- Make regularly scheduled sales calls to designated accounts
- Secure and expand distribution in assigned account base
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with on and/or off-premise accounts
- Assist customers with inventory management (product availability, new product placement, stock rotation, promotions, sales trends)
- Merchandise, stock and rotate product at each account
- Responsible for money collections on outstanding invoices. Keep up to date on customer credit status
- Maintain knowledge of product portfolio and promotions
- Exhibit discipline and resourcefulness to meet/exceed assigned monthly quotas and distribution objectives
- Participate in sales meetings and on-site trainings
- Interact respectfully and maintain communication with inter-company departments (merchandisers and delivery drivers) and suppliers
- Flexibility in hours which include early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
- Adaptability and ability to assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types on a daily basis
- Monitor inventory to maintain proper amount based on sales trends, promotions, seasonal changes, and new product placement
- Utilize point of sale materials, build displays, merchandise shelves, menu cards and permanent signage
- Conduct staff trainings as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience:
- Must be bilingual with Spanish and English
- High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Two years previous sales experience in related field (distribution, hospitality, supplier or beverage industry) preferred
- Sales Relief Representative experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as persuasion skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills; friendly, personable, and approachable
- Ability to work with and communicate with all levels of the organization including merchandisers and delivery team
- Ability to read and write in English, bilingual Spanish preferred
- Goal oriented, focused, and assertive
- Strong knowledge of beer industry and its retail consumers is preferred
- Intermediate computer skills are required (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Other:
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance is required
- Ability to acquire and maintain necessary liquor sales persons permit
- Ability to acquire and maintain any other permits, licenses, etc… that may be required by the Company
- May need to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 160 pounds on an occasional basis
- Use arms, wrists, hands, grasp, reach
