JOB DESCRIPTION

Dylan’s Candy Bar Party Lead will provide professional, positive and friendly customer service to our clients at their various events. The Party Lead will oversee the events team who provides assistance for a variety of different parties; birthday parties, adult cocktail parties, product launches, consumer and media events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead store events which include but are not limited to birthday parties, adult cocktail parties, showers, corporate luncheons, product launches, consumer and media events
  • Consistently provides an exceptional client experience, working closely with children, parents, and anticipating needs
  • Set the example by role modeling our party culture to provide outstanding customer service
  • Contributes to a positive work environment by consistently treating all Dylan’s Candy Bar employees and customers with respect
  • Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and enforces and upholds all company policies (ie. Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Customer Service) and communicates violations to the leadership team or the HR Hotline
  • Oversee and assist in the set-up and tear down of event equipment (signs, tables, materials, etc.).
  • Assist in decorating party room before party and clean up afterwards.
  • Create a positive and welcoming environment

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments at one time
  • Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
  • Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work as a mediator between the management and the staff
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; email and web searches
  • Must be extremely energetic and high spirited individual
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Work well in a team
  • Work well with children
