ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ·       Oversees the Internal Communication plan, strategy development and execution for Aureon.

    ·       Develops and publishes communication pieces seven times and seven ways to ensure employees and managers receive accurate and timely information that is reflective of our Gold Standards.

    ·       Develops and implements the employee communication program and system.

    ·       Works with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner to implement an internal recruitment communication and marketing strategy.

    ·       Responsible for scheduling, preparing communication materials including presentations, collaterals and marketing materials for quarterly meetings, manager meetings, and other meetings or events or trainings as requested by the Executive Committee or leadership team.

    ·       Responsible for oversight of internal event planning and implements communication plans as requested.

    ·       Collaborates with the MEC team for graphic design, collateral materials assistance, comprehensive corporate communication that requires external communication, event planning, the company store and other materials.

    ·       Collaborates with Corporate HR team members to promote HR programs (benefits program, employee referral program, performance management programs, talent development programs, Volunteer programs, etc.) to all employees through events, communication and other modes of delivery.

    ·       Works with the marketing team to develop a strategy using all mediums including social media platforms to promote Aureon as a Best Place to Work.

    ·       Serves as a team member and team lead as assigned for all internal events.

    ·       In conjunction with the Manager- Marketing, Events and Communication Strategy, manage and oversee the company store including key decision-making on vendors, promotional product inventory and print-on-demand. Includes developing and managing promotional product budget.

    ·       Manage Aureon Scholarship and Charity Grant programs – communicate and market programs to Independent Telecommunications Companies (ITCs), oversee distribution of funds, and publicize program successes

    ·       Oversees and updates the Aureon employee intranet to ensure all content and communications are timely, relevant, and connect to our culture and communication initiatives.

    ·       Provide backup for copywriting, editing and proofing for marketing communications and collateral.

    ·       Serves as a team member on all engagement and culture committees. Ensure all committee work advances engagement, culture and Best Place to Work.

    ·       In conjunction with Corporate HR, research and propose ideas for additional employee perks and services

    ·       Provide backup support to create presentation materials for staff speaking engagements.

    ·       Ensure that all initiatives are aligned with the Aureon Brand identity and provide key support to the development and execution of branding programs

    ·       Partner with VP of Human Resources and HR department to use communications as a key engagement lever and provide communications support for the employee engagement efforts such as; surveys, newsletters, AU committees

    ·       Disseminate internal daily communication to all staff as needed per division

    ·       Partner with all divisions of the company to develop communications as needed

    ·       Provide employee communications for the corporate services human resources group, including organizational change communication, changes in corporate policies or procedures and other matters directly impacting employee engagement or well-being

EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • ·       Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in communications, marketing or related field.

    ·       Minimum of five years of experience in communications or related field.

    ·       Excellent copywriting and editing skills.

    ·       Graphic design a plus.

    ·       Web and social media experience a plus.
