JOB DESCRIPTION

Dylan’s Candy Bar associates love the brand, love our products, and are passionate about bringing those products to life for our customers. Overnight Associates work as members of the overnight store team to create a positive customer and brand experience. We work as a team, and team members are expected to perform a variety of cross-functional tasks as assigned by the Manager On Duty or as needed to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

·         Consistently performs tasks as assigned, during the overnight hours and assigned shifts

·         Work accordingly to visual guidelines in order to generate sales and provide shopping ease for customers

·         Deliver results to contribute to their store’s success

·         Helps to unload truck shipments

·         Acting as a team player to make sure all tasks are complete before store opening hours

·         Must be adept at handling inquiries in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

·         Provides exceptional internal and external customers service according to Dylan’s Candy Bar guidelines

·         Anticipates needs and actively listens while projecting a professional image

·         Projects a professional image while in uniform

·         Comfortable giving and receiving performance feedback from supervisors, coworkers and customers

·         Perform other duties as assigned

 



  • SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

·         Must have excellent communication, influencing and selling skills

·         Must have minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an overnight position

·         Must be friendly, outgoing and confident with an ability to easily build rapport when meeting new people

·         Must be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Dylan’s Candy Bar products

·         Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines as assigned with minimal supervision

·         Enjoys being part of a team environment

·         Previous retail experience in an overnight role, preferably

·         Must have an availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, store openings and closings, to meet the needs of the business

·         Minimum High School Diploma or GED

·         Appreciation of Dylan’s Candy Bar unique culture, entrepreneurial attitude, heritage and passion for its products
