Vertex Solutions Group (VSG) is looking for well-rounded Role players to work at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) on the Glynco Campus in Brunswick, GA.  A normal training day may utilize on average of 180 roles to support 30 exercises and multiple scenarios at FLETC. Many roles are on-going on a concurrent basis.

Required services include supporting reality based law enforcement training exercises requires role players to adhere to training standards at all times including but not limited to:

  • Non-Key roles such as: 
    • Innocent Bystanders, Shopkeepers, Family Members
  • Remaining "in role" during training mission
  • Following required security rules for the assigned FLETC facility
  • Portrays an assigned role. Stays in character, applies independent judgement within the scripted scenario or ad-lib if directed. Utilizes creativity to make the situation real in a training environment
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
  • Dress in costume appropriate to the role

Hours of Operation

The normal duty hours for this contract are from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.  FLETC training requires morning, afternoon, and evening role-player support for training exercises.  Typically, starting exercise times range from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the possibility of exercises lasting until 12:00 midnight.  Exercise durations are normally two to four hours with multiple FLETC training exercises beginning and ending at the same time. 

Qualifications of Role Players

  • Must be physically and mentally capable to perform the essential functions and demands of their assigned work in a safe and effective manner.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must practice acceptable personal hygiene and present a neat appearance, and wear appropriate clothing.
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • High School diploma or GED  
  • US Citizen or non-citizen who has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence

Employees shall maintain satisfactory standards of competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity.  Fraternization to include out of role conversation, on or off Center, with FLETC students is prohibited.
