Fueler/Oiler

HEI Civil, Inc. is a full-service civil construction company. We offer a full range of construction services, including heavy civil highway construction, commercial, residential, oil field, site development, dams and reservoirs, parks, and golf courses.


We are seeking a highly motivated Fueler/Oiler to add to our team servicing the Denver Metro area. The successful candidate will provide service to our fleet of Caterpillar equipment. Must be an individual that is self-motivated, organized, detailed oriented, and comfortable working independently and as a team.


Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Support direct supervisor and adhere to direction
• Communicate with supervisor and job site foreman to maintain high efficiency of fueling operations
• Travel to job sites and complete fuel, oil, and greasing operations on vehicles
• Complete daily DOT required information, truck inspections, and timecard
• Travel to various locations around the front range in fuel truck provided by HEI Civil
• Work during hours directed by HEI Civil to keep our fleet running daily
• Work independently or with fellow employees, contractors, etc.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Alert, focused, and detail oriented
• Disciplined, dependable, accountable, and punctual
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of safe work practices
• Basic understanding of Caterpillar and construction equipment, principles, and procedures


Education and Experience
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Valid and Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
• Experience driving on and off-road commercial vehicles on constructions sites is a plus


Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Ability to climb up and down equipment in a safe manner


Work Environment:
• Inside an enclosed vehicle while driving in various weather conditions
• Outdoors in various weather conditions


Job Type: Full-time, Nonexempt


Hourly Rate: $30.00 to $38.00, based on experience
