If the world of content marketing brings a smile to your face, you might be a good fit for our inbound marketing specialist position.

As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll help reduce friction across the customer lifecycle online through planning and distribution of content, navigating technical projects involving customer data and executing inbound and content strategy activities, including blogging, social media marketing, SEO and marketing automation. (Not to mention obsessively tracking and communicating the output of their efforts.)

You will use HubSpot and other tools to work with our account planners, content writers, web strategists, and web developers to plan and execute effective campaigns across the customer lifecycle for clients.

The right candidate will have experience in inbound / content strategy and will be able to translate that into an effective executable effort with the assistance of other members on the team.

Marketing Specialist Job Duties include:

  • Propose new and improved inbound marketing campaign ideas
  • Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
  • Build and manage a rich content / editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.)
  • Establish closed-loop analytics to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns visitors into leads and leads into customers
  • Create new clients’ Inbound Marketing Playbook based on client and customer interviews, research and collaboration with our team
  • Function as the expert of inbound marketing tactics including blogging, social media marketing, search engine optimization, eBook/white paper/video content creation, website updates, email marketing, and others
  • Function as the HubSpot software expert and keep up with software updates and best practices, educating your teammates as required
  • Execute your clients’ inbound marketing plans proactively in order to meet schedules and performance
  • Take the lead in creating monthly performance reports to highlight wins, areas of improvement and recommendations for future programs
  • Stay informed about inbound marketing industry developments and be able to utilize these developments to your clients’ benefit
  • Contribute to client and internal content development
  • Navigate the successful onboarding of new clients into an inbound marketing program, software setup, and client training
  • Maintain and coordinate technical data integration projects with a network of third- party partners on behalf of clients

 Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience working in HubSpot, Pardot, Active Campaign, or Marketo
  • Ability to translate complex topics into easily understood strategies and reports for clients
  • Strong working knowledge of HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEM Rush or related SEO tools
  • Confidence with planning content strategies, maintaining an editorial calendar, and giving clear direction to team members to ensure consistent execution
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities
  • A high comfort level in navigating new industry categories, learning the space, and forming strategies based on internal and external expertise of the team
  • A drive to constantly improve as a marketer, leader, and a desire to grow the agency’s capabilities around inbound
