This team provides building managers and owners with the convenience of web-based controls— allowing optimal building performance while minimizing operating expenses. We have an opening for an Automation Technician Team Lead to join and help us grow our team!

  1. Safety
    1. Conduct Safety Audits
    2. Actively Discuss Safety with PM/Operations Manager
    3. Proactively address concerns
    4. Plan for Safety

  2. Technical Knowledge
    1. Basic understanding of all Networking, Mechanical Systems and Integrated Automation
    2. Advanced Understanding of Integrated Automation and 3rd party APIs
    3. Have a working knowledge of building codes
    4. Have a working knowledge of construction and controls standards
    5. Create and communicate complete automation system design

  3. Manage Labor
    1. Execute upon labor hours and installation within the agreed upon amounts of the estimate
    2. Execute programming templates and standards as developed by Operations Manager
    3. Maintain positive relationships with Foremen and Crews
    4. Communicates project needs to PM and assists with scheduling
    5. Complete projects with little to no direction
    6. Execute upon PM directed project needs and customer expectations
    7. Provide Leadership to assigned team members

    1. Communicate Future Opportunities 
    2. Attend customer sales meetings as requested by Project Manager
    3. Build relationships with customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years experience in integrated automation required (10+ years preferred)
  • 8+ years experience programming and commissioning at least one of the following systems:
    • Distech
    • Tridium
    • Honeywell
    • Siemens
    • Johnson Controls 
    • Schneider Electric
    • Trane
    • Automated Logic
    • Delta
