Job Summary: Under general supervision, safely provides assistance with all facets of projects in varying stages of the construction process, including but not limited to planning, designing, developing and managing projects for the construction and/or repair of buildings and facilities.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Graduate of a related technical field of study or completion of Jamar Internship in Service and Light Commercial.
- Exhibit technical aptitude and advanced computer skills, including MS Office (excel, word, power point), Adobe Writer, Visio and basic Windows.
- Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, commissioning, HVAC concepts and business operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively represent the company in an ethical and professional manner and consistent with our values and mission.
- Able to travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Safely manage operations in accordance with company policy and procedures; aggressively work to minimize hazards and to avoid/manage claims.
- Work closely with technicians and mechanics to understand agreements and work scope.
- Develop HVAC equipment drawings, schedules, submittals, sequences of operations, material lists, network layouts, electrical schematics and as built drawings; select hardware designs from several different control vendors.
- Assist in compiling cost estimates and prepare proposals; provide technical recommendations on projects.
- Aggressively perform continuous self-study, to maintain a competitive edge in the industry and company’s standards, practices and product lines; complete certifications as required.
- Perform material ordering and verification.
- Assist in providing direction and support to field teams in the installation and execution of contracts.
- Perform and assist in the commissioning of the controls and associated equipment.
- Provide assistance to design engineers and project managers during all project phases.
- Actively participate in programs, policies and initiatives designed to enhance the overall good of the company and corporation.

- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in plant and/or customer environments. PPE required when in the plant, yard, customer, or construction areas include:
