Green Hills has received a 5-star rating for it's quality of care!  We are currently seeking applicants looking for a rewarding experience to fill a Certified Medication Aide position on 2nd shift. Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and every other weekend from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.  

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medication Aides:
• Assists with the administration of medications.
• Provides care as assigned and does appropriate charting on each resident to create a flow of continuing care.
• Follows safety procedures and keeps the charge nurse informed of all relevant resident information through close observation.

Qualifications include:
• Successful completion from a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
• Registration with State registry.
• Successful completion of State approved Medication Aide course, and when applicable, any continuing education.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, perform simple arithmetic, and document care given required.
• Negative pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.
