MISSION

Act as a change agent and resource to assist our company on its journey to create a world class employee experience which includes but is not limited to; recruitment, on-boarding, retention and engagement.  This position will report directly to the President of International Fire Protection, Inc.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. TALENT ACQUISITION
  • Engage as a resource and provide advisement to both corporate and branch offices to successfully hire exceptional talent
  • Collaborate with company leaders to develop new and creative recruiting strategies that will differentiate us from other organizations
  • Lead the identification of "schools of choice" and other areas of opportunity to implement a consistent recruiting presence; demonstrating the opportunities our organization offers
  • Lead the effort to develop an internship program as a component to the recruiting strategy
  • Create a career fair toolkit to ensure best in class appearance and results; participating at said career fairs as appropriate
  • Collaborate with APi Group's talent, recruiting, hiring and marketing professionals (and communities/groups) across the APi Group of companies for best practices to improve our recruiting and brand awareness 
  1. TALENT ON-BOARDING
  • Develop and implement a robust, best in class on-boarding program for new hires.  Should be highly engaging, interactive and driven by technology to ensure a satisfying experience for each new employee.  Should include immersing new employees in the IFP "way" or our culture
  • Collaborate with APi Group's talent, recruiting, hiring and marketing professionals (and communities/groups) across the APi Group of companies for best practices to improve our on-boarding program
  1. TALENT RETENTION and ENGAGEMENT
  • Develop the IFP brand.  Leverage social media and technology to reach employees and create multiple points of contact for them with the company
  • Act as a resource for employee engagement and recognition - advise corporate and branch offices to successfully improve these areas
  • Develop and implement a robust, best in class performance review process for our employees.  Should be highly engaging, interactive and driven by technology to ensure a satisfying review process for both supervisor and employee
  • Act as a resource on Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and advise corporate and branch offices to successfully improve this area
  • Create and administer a "Lived Values Program"
  1. OTHER DUTIES
  • Maintain open communication and productive working relationships during collaboration among personnel in all areas of our organization
  • Participate as a member of APi Group's Talent Magnet Think Tank
  • Participate in special projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Mgmt, or other related field
  • Minimum 5 years talent recruitment or talent development field - experience working with upper mgmt is preferred

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals
  • Ability to correspond in a professional manner - provide concise reporting and documentation
  • Ability to provide presentations to a variety of audiences
