Granite State Management & Resources, a rapidly growing student loan servicer, is actively recruiting for a driven AR/AP Processor! The AR/AP Processor role is the core of our Finance department; providing support and aid to the entire department on a daily basis through a variety of detailed, ever-changing tasks. 
 
Our team is eager to fill this role with an individual that is able to exhibit not only patience and attention to detail but also has an eye for efficiency. This is a PRIME opportunity for a candidate with related career aspirations. 
 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process a variety of AR/AP related tasks, including but not limited to: payments, deposits, purchase orders, and employee expense reports. 
  • Prioritize designated tasks and execute with sense of urgency.
  • Prepare and enter journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of accounts.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associates Degree in Accounting/Business and 1-2 years related experience strongly preferred or a combination of both.
  • Ability to apply working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work individually and with a team. 
  • Ability to transition from one task to another seamlessly while ensuring accuracy of completed work.

This position supports a federal contract that requires applicants to be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. This process will include a background check conducted by the U.S. Government to determine eligibility and suitability for federal contract employment. US Citizenship may be required for a Public Trust security clearance to be considered.

 

The AR/AP Processor position is being offered as a full-time, in-house, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm role. Pay is DOE.
