Position Summary: The Project Administrator’s role is to support the Project Management staff in an administrative function.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews all awarded projects to help determine the most efficient manner in which to process all sales orders.
- Enters all awarded projects in to Epicor/ABW ERP business operations systems while utilizing speed, efficiency and accuracy
- Assists business in providing ERP reports and various schedules
- Creates reports and schedules using Excel
- Assists Project managers with completing various administrative reports including both maintenance & creation
- Accurate input/data entry, Proof Reading and Project Audits as required
- Order Close-Out and Booking.
- Maintenance, security, & archiving of all necessary department records.
- Coordinate drawing submittals.
- Coordination of shipping authorization and invoicing
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Position Requirements:
Education: Associate Degree Preferred
Experience:
- At least one year of in Manufacturing, Sales, Project Management or Customer Service
- Experience with ERP system preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills – written and oral
- Excellent comprehension and information retention.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze information and communicate findings
- Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effectively manage and prioritize competing priorities
- Demonstrates an ability to use new technology
- Ability to have a general understanding of blueprint/drawings, and customer specifications.
- Ability to plan, organize and multi-task in a fast pace work environment.
- Ability to work well with people in a number of positions, from administration to executive employees
- Possess a high energy level and enthusiasm with the ability to focus on agreed recommendations and results.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Able to function independently and also work in a team environment
- Regular and timely attendance is required
Physical Requirements:
- This is an office position requiring the use of office equipment such as a computer, copier, fax, phone, etc. most of the day.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to sit; talk and hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
