Primary Duties

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Assists with onboarding, including scheduling and tracking pre-hire requirements, assisting with benefits enrollment, and coordinating equipment/location requirements of new employees.
  • Prepares new employee files and enters data into HRIS.
  • Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files and maintains employee records.
  • Supports HR with correspondence, reports, job descriptions, mailings, employee booklets, etc.
  • Performs reconciliations to employee accounts/files.
  • Updates HR spreadsheets with employee change requests and processes paperwork.
  • Assists human resources department with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Team.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
  • 2 years' experience in an office setting
  • Desire to work in human resources
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, and personnel information systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Prefer one to two years experience working in human resources
