We have a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team.  Reporting to Vice President of Operations, this position is responsible for delivering the project within established goals for quality, timeliness, budget, profitability, safety and customer satisfaction. A successful candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate with others, lead under difficult circumstances, direct the work of others and be able to take critical feedback on performance of your project. You will become your own boss by driving and managing the success of your project as it relates to budget, employee and sub-contractor management, and scheduling of project operations. We're looking for individuals with experience and background in the following areas: commercial food processing/handling operation, office buildings, agricultural livestock confinement facilities and hotels.

  • Strong scheduling and project management experience
  • Leading, mentoring, and training of diverse teams and communicating expectations
  • Experience with multiple project types and sizes
  • Knowledgeable throughout preconstruction process
  • Cost management experience – accountable for project results
  • Ability to negotiate effectively, quick and assertive
  • Ability to read other people and adapt your approach to achieve results
  • Understanding of productivity and pricing
  • Timely recognition of problems and implementing solutions
  • Maintain quality control over project while effectively managing project scope
  • Proficient in Sage, Microsoft Office, and other construction-related software
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related field, or related experience
  • 5+ years of construction experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time to project locations, including overnight travel
