Job Summary

In this position you lead the Sales & Marketing analytics function to bring actionable business insights to the organization from multiple, disparate data sources. Analyze data by interpreting results using a variety of techniques ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining. Work comfortably within BI tools. Design, develop, implement and monitor business solutions. The Data & Analytics Manager will work directly with leadership to identify analytical requirements and apply business and market intelligence to the data for making strategic business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities & Scope

  • Design and develop a Sales and Marketing reporting and insight framework collaborating with key stakeholders in the IT, Finance, Sales and Marketing groups
  • Responsible for extracting and utilizing information to improve organizational performance, market share, share of wallet, and customer satisfaction
  • Provide strategic sales insights to sales managers based on analytical interpretation
  • Responsible for the Voice of Customer survey process (customer satisfaction surveys) to include, providing recommendations and strategies for improving performance and sales goals based off of analytical interpretation
  • Provide business leaders with recommendations on where and how to market and sell our products and services

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in business management, data analysis, statistics, or marketing
  • Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft office suite required
  • PDI Ascend ERP experience strongly preferred
  • Microsoft SQL Server Database or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience using ETL tools such as SSIS or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience using SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, marketing or related field
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business data points and effectively communicate with, and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability take ownership of multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business data points
