MMC is looking for a motivated, high drive, customer focused candidate to fill a critical service coordination role in the service department.  This person will be involved in the labor management of over 30 mobile service technicians. This is a fast paced, customer service oriented environment where you will be an integral part of our service team.  

  1. Dispatch Responsibilities
    • Be available from 6:00am until 5:00pm (hours will vary 8 hour shifts)
    • Support dispatch duties
      • Create new jobs
      • Create PO’s
      • General dispatch of service technicians
    • Close jobs on dispatch side of coins as needed
    • Work to create and maintain a MMC standard service request procedure
    • Maintain visible daily dispatch calendar
    • Manage incoming service WO’s
    • Maintain dispatch afterhours call list of availability of technicians
    • Keep a positive attitude and be customer service minded

  1. Project Coordination
    • Provide what is needed for all work areas on a daily biases (cranes, lifts, parts etc.)
    • Generate field quotes with help of service project managers
      • Sell fast turnaround repair service direct to customers
      • Generate Preventive maintenance leads for Service PMs
    • Assist Project managers by leading field crew members with required data for daily job tasks
    • Willingness to learn the mechanical service business
    • Have knowledge of location and status of entire field labor force at all times
    • Admin support person for the service PM’s as time allows

  2. MMC Service Technology Expert
    • Ability to understand an ever changing service coordination program
    • Become a “Super User” in cutting edge service software
    • Be focused on the continuing improvement of MMC Service Department Process
    • Work well in a fast paced team environment
    • Have an active role in changing existing process

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service experience and skill
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn dispatch software system
  • Intermediate skills MS Office Products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Past experience with mechanical company or dispatch experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and cohesively
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong phone skills and active listener
