The Account Manager role at The Wellness Network provides a compelling opportunity for account management professionals with
- a proven track record of successful project management of assigned customers
- demonstrated skills in training and articulating value propositions to existing custom channel customers
- experience working with leadership in developing prioritized funnel
- experience working accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and to increase customer retention.
The ideal candidate will have a consultative, customer-centric approach to meet the demands of the complex healthcare environment.
The Account Manager position works primarily “in the office”, but some limited travel will be required.
Account Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Train and articulate value proposition to existing custom channel customers.
- Build, manage and optimize relationships to generate significant long-term revenue and customer loyalty.
- Consistently meet or exceed goals, demonstrating focused account management efforts and understanding of the hospital environment.
- Participate in department activities as a key stakeholder, including marketing and customer loyalty.
- Strong ability to interpret contractual agreements as well as have outstanding customer service and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Account Manager Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge and experience in healthcare business
- Experience in customer service, sales, marketing or support of technical products is preferred
- Two years’ experience in either health information technology or healthcare is also preferred
- Knowledge of computer and other technology
- Ability to travel 10% of the time as an on-going requirement
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Strong client relationship skills, including strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to clearly and simply discuss complex issues.
- Proven ability to write well-structured business correspondence and engage in professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to manage different situations and to professionally challenge clients.
- Well-developed consulting skills, including quick-thinking in unstructured client setting, strong problem-solving skills using a data-oriented approach, and a consultative “problem-focused” approach and style.
- Proven independent work management skills, possessing strong personal organizational skills, group facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to understand the application of computers in a clinical setting.
- Ability to understand the healthcare business environment.
