That’s the FACE Culture that we live and breathe here at MRA. Our learning & development team is looking for a creative, tech-savvy, Learning Technologist with webinar experience. The learning technologist will support, maintain and operate learning technology systems to support MRA and our members’ learning and development needs.
Position: Learning Technologist
As the Learning Technologist, you will demonstrate an understanding of technical constraints and opportunities, have familiarity with learning technology systems and protocols, and are passionate about creating an excellent user experience.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. They must be willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done while insisting on the highest standards and measuring the impact of the learning experiences they build.

As the Learning Technologist you will:
- Serve on the Learning Management System (LMS) selection team
- Manage the data integration between the LMS and Salesforce (Customer-Relationship Management)
- Oversee launch of the selected LMS and manage day-to-day operations and support of the LMS
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for the LMS and answer questions/troubleshooting from any user of the LMS system in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain LMS training/job aids
- Train key stakeholders on LMS functionality
- Collaborate with the Registrations team, L&D’s “voice of the member” to develop reports or other means by which users will access LMS data
- Support the delivery of distance learning by serving as a producer for webinars
- Support technology solutions and demonstrate a breadth and depth of knowledge in the following areas:
- Collaborate with registration specialist, instructional designers, program managers, and other stakeholders in understanding and implementing technology solutions for use in a variety of learning interventions
- Working with the L&D team to effectively use the LMS, web portals, Salesforce, and other technologies to store and implement learning solutions and track data that can be used to evaluate and enhance learning programs
- Set up learning paths in the LMS using instructional methods including classroom, virtual classroom, webinar, eLearning and/or blended learning.
- Continually evaluate solutions for quality, behavioral and business impact, and scalability
- Leverage technology to improve learner access to materials and provide just in time learning
- Maintain knowledge of new learning approaches, technology, and measurement tools through continuous research to ensure our solutions deliver innovation
In your first year, your role will include the following:
- Training on MRA tools and technology (you have cutting edge tools to do your job effectively)
- Distinctive MRA training to deliver consistent project outcomes for our member projects
- Help implement our newly selected LMS, and help end-users learn its functionality
Job Requirements
- At least 5+ years’ LMS administration experience or developing learning content, including end-user training and day-to-day support
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Experience with webinar systems such as Adobe Connect, GoTo Webinar/Meeting, Webex or Zoom
- Familiarity with xAPI, SCORM
- Experience managing large-scale technology implementations
- Track record of delivering complex, strategic project
- Familiarity with tool integrations using APIs and scripting
- Knowledge of eLearning tools such as Captivate, Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and Software technology like SharePoint, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for learning portal design
Preferred Qualifications
- History of sparking improvements in learning strategy and content through collaboration and prototyping
- An eye for visual design and knack for creating great user experiences
- Experience in curriculum development, performance improvement, and/or project management
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other Customer-Relationship Management software
- Demonstrated passion regarding the member; never settle for good enough, and continually inspire others to do better for the member
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication including skills in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers
