Soukup Construction, Inc. is looking for a Full-time Assistant Estimator
Soukup Construction is a regional excavation construction company that performs site preparation, utility work, and demolition. We are seeking an Assistant Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry or graduated with a construction related degree. This position includes competitive wages (opportunity to make $60,000 plus) commensurate with experience and qualifications, benefits, paid time off, and requires no overnight travel.
This position has the opportunity for growth within the companyent, and competitive salary ($80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience), full benefit package, and paid time off. No overnight travel is required.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist Estimators with plan Take off
- Assist Project Managers with managing construction projects.

What You'll need to be Successful:
- Construction industry knowledge.
- Highly motivated with strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong math skills and comfort level with technology, including MS Office products.
- Experience using CAD is highly preferred but not required.
Work Environment
Performance of duties will consist primarily of time spent in the office, but will include local driving to and inspection of outdoor commercial jobsites. Inspection of jobsites will require walking on a variety of surfaces in varying temperatures and weather condition
