Eby Construction is a regional leader in the construction industry with competitive pay and industry leading benefits.  In this position you are expected to have experienced carpentry skills necessary to complete form carpentry, rough carpentry and finish carpentry tasks.  Tasks include, but are not limited to, setting formwork for walls, paving and suspended deck, setting door frames, metal stud wall framing, hang drywall, lay wood decking, install wood blocking, install doors and hardware, install trim and casing, install toilet partitions and accessories, hang fiber reinforced panels and set windows.

Other requirements:

• Know and work within OSHA guidelines, follow company safety policies.
• Work with others as a team. Be willing to learn and share the knowledge of the craft.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment required for the task, including: circular saws, table saws, jig saws, reciprocating saws, routers, nail guns, power actuated guns, hammer drills and drills.
• Perform tasks using methods and procedures based upon your skill level.
• You are required to supply hand tools necessary to perform your craft.

As a Carpenter you will experience physical demands and challenging working conditions such as:

• Standing and walking for long periods
• Climbing of stairs and ladders
• Bending, kneeling and twisting
• Lifting heavy loads on a frequent basis
• Working inside and outside in all weather and temperature conditions
• Dirty, dusty and occasionally muddy or slick conditions
• Vibrations from tools and moving objects
• Varying noise levels
• Working in cramped quarters and high places

Following an interview and job offer, you must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen and provide I-9 documentation which will be processed through E-Verify.  Some Eby clients require employee back-ground checks before allowing workers on their projects.
