Job Requirements:

• Performs job site clean up
• Demolition
• Installs/removes perimeter fencing
• Removes temporary handrails
• Strips concrete forms
• Supplies materials to carpenters
• Sets up equipment for use at start of day
• Cleans and puts away equipment at end of day
• Keeps tools clean and in good operating condition
• Starts work on time
• Follows safety rules
• Has reliable transportation to jobsite
• Has standard hand tools

Apprentices to learn to:

• Perform rough and finished carpentry from beginning to end
• Apply sheathing for walls and roofs
• Installs various types and forms of paneling
• Construct concrete forms; pours, finishes and repairs concrete pads, footings, stairs and related items
• Weather barrier installation
• Construct complete window and door frames
• Install windows and hangs doors
• Lays finished flooring
• Builds and installs customized shelves, cabinets and/or counters
• Operate general construction equipment on site
• Perform calculations for material and supply requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints
