Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily coordination with the Director of Production & fellow Foreman
  • Pre-Check & confirm needed materials for day
  • Inspection of crew for PPE, tools, identifications, etc prior to commencement of work, and do attendance. Report attendance to Supervisor. 
  • Pre-work review of daily work plan; assign crew duties for day. For the first day of a job, and for every week of the job, complete Job Inspection Sheet.  (See Attached Form)
  • Prepare & file required hot work documents
  • Site inspections for hot work/signage & tape
  • Site inspections for warnings signs, rope offs and red tape for all overhead work
  • Repeated daily inspections of crew work to assure:
    • safety
    • strict compliance with TKS standards
    • problem avoidance/resolution
    • compliance with timely completion of set goals
  • Daily recap to Director of Production, with photographs
  • Use workday for on-going training for individual crew members
  • Back up crew members in work
  • Assure clean work site at end of shift
  • Complete Daily Hazard Identification & Job Safety Sheet.  Turn completed form into Production Manager.
  • Confirm crew hours with Director of Production
  • Pay Range Minimum Wage to $30 an hour depending on experience.
