Plumber Mechanics (Construction)

ColonialWebb is seeking experienced commercial Plumber Mechanics to join our large construction team.

Plumber Mechanics will layout, fabricate, assemble, and install plumbing and piping systems on large commercial and industrial construction projects. Typical construction projects include hospitals, data centers, high-rises, universities, secondary schools, and government facilities.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Work experience as a Plumber Mechanic or Pipefitter for commercial construction projects. (Journeyman level experience is preferred, license not required).
  • Experienced with layouts and ability to read and work from drawings.
  • Ability to direct the work of a helper or apprentice.

Requirements:

  • Safety-minded and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
  • Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter.
  • Knowledge of basic construction/shop math
  • Knowledge of International Plumbing Code (IPC).
  • Positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
