PMI is seeking Full-Time, Construction Crew Members and Millwrights who live in Central Iowa to install and maintain bulk-material handling equipment in Iowa and bordering states.

  • $22-32/hr based on experience and proven skills
  • Fulltime hours with overtime available
  • Must be willing to travel:  Primarily Monday-Friday, but possibly 10 days on/4 days off when the job requires  
  • Per Diem:  $125 per overnight stay when traveling
  • Minimum Education Required:  High School/GED
  • Two years or more of grain-related Millwright experience is preferred

Job Description:

  • Set up and operate a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders and saws, as well as appropriate non-powered hand tools required to perform tasks
  • Assemble and install drag conveyors, bucket elevators, belt conveyors, and other conveyors as needed
  • Interpret basic diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts and aerial boom lifts after proper training and authorization
  • General knowledge of relevant OSHA safety policies, procedures and practice
  • Experience in bulk-material handling and welding is a plus
  • Climb and work at heights of 200-300 feet
  • Tools provided by PMI
