Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst will play a key support role in the finance and accounting teams to maintain financial models that measure and enhance business operations in every SBU throughout the company. Duties include compilation of financial data and KPI’s from multiple sources and subsequent analysis of that data to produce business information used to support and drive decisions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical, reporting, and project support to senior management
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting against the Annual Budget or monthly forecast
- Preparation and summary of routine operational, sales and supply information (i.e. weekly sales numbers, margin analysis, customer analysis, weekly KPIs of operations)
- Assist with the annual budgeting and weekly forecasting processes
- Maintain or develop models that help with decision-making
- Perform month end duties that include review of expense classifications by business unit.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as required
Required Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience in financial analysis
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
- Attention to accuracy and detail required
- Experience using analytic platforms such as Microsoft BI Tools or Tableau preferred
- Experience utilizing ERP or accounting software
- Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels
- Ability to analyze, question and summarize data for executive decision making
- Excellent verbal and written skills
Required Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
