Closet America is an industry-leading custom home organizational manufacture located in Landover, MD. Serving the DMV for over 10 years, Closet America provides homeowners with organizational systems that are custom designed and manufactured to their lifestyle and budget. We’re looking to add an SEO Manager to the fast-paced and innovative Marketing team of Closet America. This position is brand new and is going to help Closet America further move the needle in this marketplace and prepare the company to expand into new markets. You’ll work alongside Marketing leadership as well as a diverse team of lead generation specialists and brand ambassadors. Essential functions of the job include:

· Develop and execute creative and successful SEO strategies

· Create engaging content for both SEO and user experience (written and other mediums)

· Conduct keyword research for our industry and competitive analysis to develop a content strategy

· Review technical SEO issues with the website and fix as they arise (missing metadata, etc.)

· Actively optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy

· Direct offsite optimization projects (e.g. link building)

· Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO measurable aspects

· Work closely with both the Marketing Associate and Marketing Manager on creating cohesive campaigns on all media outlets (onsite and offsite)

· Keep abreast of ongoing SEO and integrated marketing trends

· Create content and strategies with ROI and lead generation top-of-mind

Position Qualifications:

· 3-5 Years of SEO Manager experience or similar role

· 3-5 Years of web analytics, marketing, and copywriting

· 2+ Years of experience with Google Analytics and other site management tools

· Experience with WordPress

· Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems

· Knowledge of HTML and CSS

· In-depth knowledge of research principles, methods, and experience with analyzing/presenting data

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Great time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills

· Proven track record of successful SEO strategies and campaigns
