POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be responsible and focused on process, procedure, and systems to ensure accurate and timely retail product inventory audit and controls. The Inventory Control Manager/ METRC Administrator will set the audit schedule and perform inventory audits, which include the testing of internal process standards and controls. The Inventor Control Manager/METRC Administrator will be expected to provide leadership in the development and implementation of retail inventory processes, procedures, and systems. The Inventory Control Manager/METRC Administrator will be expected to work closely with the accounting, finance, operations, and retail teams to maintain and improve the inventory process controls. This position will also have a supervisory role over the inventory control team members at each licensed location and will work very closely with the retail department regarding the functions and roles of those employees.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Measure, track and report daily inventory, discrepancies, and sales.
  • Verification of daily syncing between Biotrack and METRC State system for inventory for multiple licenses
  • Comparison and audit of inventory between Biotrack and METRC State inventory systems for multiple licenses
  • Investigate, Adjust, and account for all variances between inventory systems.
  • Coordinate plant tagging and track all cannabis harvest, inventory, and waste activity for the Company.
  • Ensure compliance and reconcile deliveries and returns in METRC daily
  • Maintain physical documentation of all transfer manifests
  • Supervise, schedule, and review inventory control employees at all dispensary locations  
  • Flag METRC compliance gaps or risks for management in a timely manner and troubleshoot solutions
  • Partner with the cultivation and production leads to ensure proper storage, packaging, and daily inventory reconciliation of flower and packaged product against METRC
  • Interact and cooperate with Cannabis Compliance inspectors for 100% compliance every time
  • Provide updates and education to all members of the staff on METRC compliance issues or new regulations and laws
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.  
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with METRC and BIOTRACK tracking systems
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory audit control or supply chain management in Cannabis, manufacturing, or retail industries
  • Pursuant to state statutes, must be able to clear a complete background check with no felonies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills specifically in Word, and Excel
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must have the ability to work and focus in an open office environment with multiple distractions.
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly organized to maintain multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Organizational astuteness, managing processes, process improvement, reporting skills, developing standards
  • Ability to develop, interpret, and communicate policies & procedures
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to travel as needed

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or another related field
  • Understands industry, market trends, and cannabis laws.
  • Quickly adjusts and constructively reacts to unforeseen circumstances and setbacks.
  • Forecasting experience

Ability to stoop, bend over, lift up to 50lbs, reach up high to grab and move inventory, carry items up/downstairs, climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time. The employee is regularly required to walk and reach with hands and arms. Prolonged sitting or standing may be required, 8 hours plus. Those physical movements and the degree of mobility normally associated with this type of position will be performed on a repetitive basis. The ability to distinguish letters and symbols, as well as the ability to utilize telephones, computer terminals, calculators, and copiers is required.

Travel Demands

This position will require periodic travel to our facilities that are located outside of the state of Nevada.
