Marketing & Communications Manager

The Marketing & Communications Manager will drive and enhance the marketing strategy for Mears Group. The position will design, administer, and deliver various marketing programs to aid in the company’s growth and expansion plans.  The position will report to the Vice President of Business Development. 


What Do You Offer Us? 

  • Manage marketing vendors and partners: Including website, social media, graphic design, printing, etc
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations for customer interactions
  • Coordinate inventory of marketing materials and promotional Items
  • Develop advertising, brochures, videos, letters, displays, etc.
  • RFI and RFP Support - Assist in large proposal coordination
  • CRM Administration (Salesforce)
  • Industry Association and Conference planning and support
  • Event Planning – customer and internal events
  • Develop marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Advertising strategy and budget
  • Brand management & strategy
  • Manage internal communications channels (email announcements, intranet content, etc)

What is Required? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business or related field
  • Experience in the construction, utility, or oil & gas industry a plus
  • Creative and resourceful
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing trends and technologies
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Communicate ideas, insights and strategies effectively
  • Knowledge of related software applications
  • Knowledge of marketing trends and practices
