Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC will begin accepting applications for the Cohen Milstein Fellowship on September 1, 2020. The Fellowship is one year in duration with a start date in the Fall of 2021. It offers recent law school graduates an unparalleled litigation experience at a leading plaintiffs’ firm.

Fellows work closely with attorneys throughout the Firm on high-stakes antitrust, securities & investor protection, civil rights, human rights, consumer protection, public client, employee benefits, and whistleblower/False Claims Act matters. Fellows participate in all aspects of the Firm’s work, including investigating potential cases, researching cutting-edge legal issues, conducting discovery, drafting pleadings, and collaborating with our colleagues in leading firms across the country.
Location
The Fellowship is located in our Washington, DC office.
Qualifications
We seek applications from current law students (with an anticipated graduation date in May 2021 or sooner), recent law graduates, and judicial clerks who share our commitment to performing the highest quality legal work to advance the public good.
Applicants should have strong academic credentials, superior analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated experience working collaboratively. Applicants must be able to commit to one year of service to be considered for the Fellowship. Applicants must be, as of the start date of the Fellowship, (1) admitted to the bar of a state, territory, or district of the United States; (2) awaiting exam results or admission after taking a bar exam; or (3) preparing to sit for the next available bar exam.
Compensation and Benefits
Fellows will receive a salary of $85,000 annually and will be eligible to participate in the Firm’s full benefits package.
