Role:

 

Manages, coaches, and develops the sales team to attain Allegiance sales goals. Develops strategies for achieving loan growth including initiating, developing, and implementing opportunities for new relationships, businesses or products that are advantageous in achieving those goals. Works effectively and proactively with other departments to attain sales and service expectations. Attendance is an essential function of performing the duties of this job.

Responsible for achieving Credit Union growth goals in consumer and mortgage lending.

Creates and develops strategies to accomplish sales goals, utilizing market research, competitor analysis, and internal resources.

Provides leadership, inspiration and coaching to ensure the sales team exceeds sales expectations, achieves performance goals and creates a culture of success.

Works with Marketing to develop campaigns to support sales strategies and goals.

Manages and oversees the incentive program for the sales team.

Works cross-functionally across credit union departments to integrate new solutions, introduce and implement new products, or gain referrals.

Performance Measurements:

Meet Budget Loan Growth Goals by providing sales leadership to consumer and mortgage loan officers.

Provide coaching to each employee at least once a month through shadowing and silent monitoring.

Utilizes HubSpot Sales Hub to help team track leads and close sales.

Knowledge and Skills:

 

Experience

Five to ten years of similar or related experience

 

Education

(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Motivating or influencing others is a material part of the job. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. The role requires a significant level of trust or diplomacy.

1. Knowledge of the secondary market and experience with first and second mortgage residential real estate lending; must have proven track record of selling and servicing loans.
2. Must have working knowledge of regulations affecting mortgage lending.
3. Must have good communication and supervisory skills.
3. Must have working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software; be able to use PC and general office equipment including 10-key calculator.
