Job Title: Billing Department Associate

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION: This role performs a variety of routine and non-routine moderately complex functions to support and ensure the proper preparation of accurate and timely bills to customers based on contract terms.   

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Based upon level of position, not all functions may apply)

 

  • Audit invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract
  • Prepare invoices utilizing timesheets, receipts and vendor invoices
  • Manage the status of projects balances and change orders
  • Distribution of invoices to client as specified in contract
  • Prepare weekly project cost/revenue tracking sheets
  • Setup and maintain project files
  • Other administrative duties as required

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Based upon level of position, not all functions may apply)

 

  • Attention to detail
  • Deadline oriented
  • Good at working with numbers and processing financial information
  • Ability to problem solve and take initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have a strong work ethic and able to work as a team or independently

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
