Project White Line Tech

As a Project White Line Tech your primary task is to clearly mark the requested excavator route and/or area to be excavated.  The route of the excavation is to be marked with white paint and flags, or a combination of these to outline the dig site prior to or during notification to the one call center and before the locator arrives on the job site.

What is Required?

  • Reading maps and blueprints to determine where the requested excavator route or area to be excavated will take place.
  • May regularly be exposed to heat, cold, rain and other elements of outdoor weather.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is needed for this position.
  • Experience in a similar position is preferred.
  • The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, to bend and stoop, and to lift heavy items is essential.
  • This job requires traveling to different locations, it is important to have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • At all times, you must follow safety procedures and laws.
  • Maintain a professional appearance daily (work uniform is provided)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Other duties as assigned

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
