CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER / WATER RESOURCES TECHNICAL LEAD
Infrastructure Design Group, Inc. is a civil engineering and land surveying services firm providing professional services to public and private clients in the southeast South Dakota region. We provide professional engineering, surveying, and consulting services to local municipalities, county and state DOT’s, and other state departments, as well as private sector clients. We have an immediate opening for a full time Civil Project Engineer / Project Manager / Water Resources Technical Lead with a focus on water resources and drainage analysis to be located in either our Sioux Falls, SD, Mitchell, SD or Watertown, SD offices.
As a Civil Project Engineer / Project Manager / Water Resources Technical Lead, this role will involve working with other engineers, surveyors, and technicians to complete engineering studies and designs, drawings, layouts, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided drafting software, computer modeling software, and other design and analysis methods and tools. Work also entails field investigations and inspections. We are interested in a motivated individual capable of taking on multiple responsibilities as a team player. The position will focus on water resources and drainage design, project management, mentoring staff, and oversight of transportation, municipal, and private development type projects.
Qualifications:
This position requires a BS degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of related design/engineering and/or project management experience. Requires proven technical knowledge to complete technical analysis and engineering designs. Knowledge of DOT and/or typical municipal standards and competence with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation/InRoads is preferred.
The ideal candidate shall be self-motivated, organized, able to communicate effectively both written and orally, able to work in a team environment, and have strong interpersonal skills.
