Midwest Glass, Your Door & Window Store, is looking for a Commercial Fabricator. The Commercial Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating all types of door and window hardware. 

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Fabricate storefront frame systems, curtainwall frame systems, manual and automatic entrance doors, all types of door and window hardware, break metal, and other related products windows and doors
• Train Commercial Entry Level Glazier correct and appropriate procedures and techniques
• Make needed decisions to fabricate material in a timely manner
• Keep the Department Manager informed on projects, deadlines, or problems
• Assist with inhouse and outside work orders, unloading of merchandise, and assist co-workers as needed to complete scheduled tasks.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

• Required: One year in a related industry dealing with the cutting and assembly of metal products
• Preferred: One year as Commercial Fabricator. Two years of fabricating storefronts, curtainwall and related doors and hardware
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read a tape measure and operate all power tools and equipment utilized by Midwest Glass
