Pirc-Tobin Construction is a privately owned, heavy construction company established in 2005 specializing in sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, excavation, grading, concrete, seeding, and directional drilling. We have continued to grow over the last ten years and have worked in many cities and towns across eastern Iowa. We are located in Alburnett, Iowa, just fifteen minutes north of Cedar Rapids. We understand the needs of cities and towns of all sizes looking to improve their property values, effectiveness and appearance through various utility and site projects.

Job Description

We are looking for fulltime Project Engineer who is a reliable self-starter with excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills. Someone who pays attention to detail, takes initiative, shows pride in their work, and is proficient with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Office 365. This individual would be working with both the operations and estimating teams. 

     Primary Responsibilities Include:

• • Assist lead estimator with bids
  • Solicit subcontractors & vendor for estimates 
  • Perform quantity takeoffs 
  • Quantity verification in the field   
  • GPS field setup       
  • Submittal review and submission

Required Experience
