Summary:

Supervises the servers, bartenders and server assistants and assists with hiring, training and supervising all front of the house food and beverage associates. Ensures that a high level of service is consistently delivered to our membership and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:  

  1. Ensure proper staffing levels for our indoor and outdoor dining areas including the Salt and Oak Restaurant, The Bistro and Tiki Bar Salt and Oakr.
  2. Maintain proper inventory levels by assisting with end of the month inventories for beer wine and liquor, as well as china glass and silver when needed.
  3. Meet or exceed budgeted financial goals. Monitor and maintain budgeted payroll, beverage and other costs associated with the daily operation.
  4. Know all opening and closing procedures for food and beverage.
  5. Have a full understanding of food and beverage computerized programs, preferably Jonas.
  6. Assist in the design, promotion and execution of all F & B related events and activities.
  7. Provide training and a positive work environment for all servers, bartenders and server assistants. Follow the F & B training manual/sequence of service.
  8. Hold pre-shift meetings with staff prior to each meal period.
  9. Provide a safe and sanitary work environment for all guests, members and staff. Check the maintenance of all equipment in all outlet’s and reports deficiencies.
  10. Any other duties as directed by the General Manager.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Minimum requirement is a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have at least 5 years of food and beverage experience with two years as a supervisor. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential. Must be a team player and member service oriented. 

Job Type/Work Hours: This is a fulltime, exempt position. It requires to work mostly afternoon and evening hours. It may fluctuate depending on the needs of the guests and members.
