SCHEDULE: You have to be available to work evenings and weekends 

PAY: $17/hour with $2 weekend differential

Job Description: 

In this position you will work in one of the many warehouse departments Homemakers has to offer. You are an essential part of the team and a part of the exceptional customer experience. You are responsible for handling customer product carefully to ensure safety and accuracy.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Properly handle the product while moving it from one location to another
• Assist with moving product to clearance center and rearrange as needed
• Load the purchased product into the customer vehicle
• Tag product accurately
• Maintain awareness of what needs to be accomplished for the day and assisting others in the department
• Perform additional duties and functions as required

Job Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of operating heavy machinery (i.e., forklift) and operating hand tools
• Computer proficiency
• Warehouse experience
• Forklift certification a plus

Physical expectations:

• Walking or standing for long periods of time
• Bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects frequently
• Use of hands and power tools
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and more with assistance

Environmental conditions:

• Will work indoors and outdoors
• Conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, dusty surroundings and noisy work environment
