ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Is this the right position to help you achieve your professional goals as you move to the next stage of your career? Some of the key responsibilities for this Senior Environmental Professional – Due Diligence Practice position include:

  • Supporting or managing projects involving due diligence with substantial historical research and review, including ASTM-compliant Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments;
  • Significant client interaction with Fortune 100 companies and assisting in managing the portfolio risk with project sites primarily in the Western U.S., but may also include other geographies in the U.S. and Canada;
  • Directing and providing senior technical review of site characterization involving soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling, as well as remediation; and
  • Reviewing and advising clients on environmental risk management for site redevelop and occupancy, including but not limited to construction worker and vapor intrusion risks.

Based on your current level of experience, you’ll be asked to take on significant project and client management responsibilities as well as staff management.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental or earth sciences; or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering. [required]
  • Advanced degree in earth sciences or environmental engineering. [preferred]

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in an environmental consulting environment. [required]
  • Significant experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. [required]
  • Experience with vapor intrusion evaluations and mitigation systems. [strongly preferred]
  • Knowledge and experience with regulations in the Western U.S., including California. [strongly preferred]
  • Experience working on demanding, sophisticated, confidential and legally-sensitive projects with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handle multiple project assignments, meet strict deadlines. [strongly preferred]
  • An outstanding track record for client management and technical leadership. [preferred]
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. [required]
