We are currently seeking a Director of IT Business Office; whose primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient operations of the Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Transformation (BPT) Departments. You will manage the day to day affairs of both departments. You will report to the Chief Information Officer. You will work closely with the CIO and other senior IT Leaders to execute initiatives across IT and BPT. You will be a member of the IT Senior Leadership Team. This role provides you with an opportunity to have a direct influence on APi’s overall strategy and roadmap.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the IT Senior Leadership Team you will:
- Lead the day to day affairs of the IT and BPT departments and taking high level direction from the Chief Information Officer, execute and deliver on these actions.
- Own key meetings and ensure meetings are run efficiently including agendas, facilitation, minutes, and action items.
- Own the Administration and Operations functions for IT and BPT, including Finance, Personnel (HCM), Administration, Asset Management, Vendor Management, Processes and Procedures, Benchmarking, Metrics/Scorecards, and Communications.
- Own the IT and BPT processes. Ensure that they are implemented, reviewed, updated annually, communicated, and followed.
- Own the IT Department Playbook. Ensure that these processes are followed.
- Communicate the IT and BPT value to the business.
- Develop metrics and reporting for measuring and improving the effectiveness of the overall IT and BPT Department’s.
- Drive continuous improvement, improving service levels for the organization.
- Provide an objective perspective of both departments.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of leadership experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor employees.
- Degree from a four-year College or University or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Visio.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, including presentation skills
- Flexibility to work occasionally outside business hours.
- Excellent organizational skills and analytic, problem-solving skills.
- Impeccable confidentiality, attention to detail, and self-organization.
- Self-directed and motivated, with a positive and willing attitude.
- Ability to influence with and without authority.
- Able to deal with high level concepts or ambiguity.

- Experience Leading in an IT Organization or familiar with IT department operations.
- Data analysis.
- Process and workflow design.

- Ability to take high level concepts and quickly deliver a draft to ensure directional accuracy, then deliver the finished product based on feedback.
