The Plumber is a field role responsible for safely installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes of utility construction projects.  The Plumber will collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure company procedures are followed.

Our projects are regulated by federal and state laws which require all employees to successfully pass criminal background checks, MVR, and drug tests (post-employment and random testing).  

What Do You Offer Us?

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.

  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
  • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required.
  • Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

What is Required?

  • 3-5 Years field experience or Military equivalent
  • Must be able to maintain a valid Driver’s License
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
  • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work is performed most frequently outdoors in weather conditions that vary from freezing temperatures to heat above 90 degrees, in wet and dry conditions and in rural areas. Some exposure to odors, gases, dust and dirt may occur. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. Lifting and carrying of 10 to 50 pounds frequently is required. Job requires standing, crawling, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and reaching a majority of the time.
