Position Summary

Responsible for the setup and end-user support of computers, audio/visual, mobile, and other electronic devices. Serves as lead contact for the IT Help Desk to provide excellent member service to the cooperative. Works with the Information Technology team to ensure effective data security, integrity, and availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute programs to teach employees how to identify/mitigate phishing and social engineering risks.
  • Educate employees on office applications, operating systems, and mobile technologies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for hardware and software Help Desk issues.
  • Receive and troubleshoot Help Desk requests, collaborating with other IT personnel when necessary.
  • Prepare audiovisual equipment for meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain content on company intranet.
  • Provide routine maintenance on computers, printers, hardware, and software.
  • Make recommendations regarding hardware and software to meet identified business needs.
  • Support the life cycle of cell phones/other mobile devices and client computer patching cycle.
  • Accurately track and monitor IT assets.
  • Take the lead in the recycling and disposal of retired equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent education and work experience. Minimum 2 years of technical and technical support experience or equivalent co-op experience.

Compensation

$57,325 - $70,002
