Summary
Seeking a dedicated individual with the desire to learn and build a career while exceeding the highest quality of safety standards. This position involves the performance and record keeping of quality control tests including pulling samples from stockpiles and testing materials for specific measurements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support a culture that promotes safety as top priority while ensuring compliance with all
    federal, state and company regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sampling schedule.
  • Basic understanding of construction materials.
  • Must be able to interpret test results and communicate findings with supervisors.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
    common fractions, and decimals.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards
    accurately. Also have knowledge of Internet software, Excel Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
  • Standard valid driver's license is required.
  • Travel is expected at times with this position.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma required or GED. Prior experience testing materials in the lab and field preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
